2. Ultrasonic Pulse velocity test
• This test deals with the measurement of
time of travel of electronically generated
mechanical pulse through the structure
to be tested that is further used to
analyse its quality.
• The mechanical pulse is generated with
the help of Electro Acoustic Transducers
and detected with the help of
Transmitter that is further used to
analyse the time of travel and the
velocity of pulse through the structure so
as to represent the quality of structure.
